WORK DOC Medical provides improved medical support to the Mining Industry with its 24/7 immediate, consistent and industry aware medical advice.
WORK DOC Medical was designed in 2012 with the first telehealth pilot servicing CSG rigs in remote Queensland. Within 3 months of starting the trial, the benefits of introducing immediate on-site access to medical advice was seen - an innovation in the field. Since then, this service has been adopted broadly within the CSG sector, operating throughout Australia, servicing many of the major CSG companies. |
Dr Philip Bailey MBBS FRACGP LLM CCFP

Dr Philip Bailey is an experienced Telehealth, Medical Consultant and Medico-legal Specialist.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, his work history has included General Practice, Regional Clinical Governance at director and regulatory body levels; Health education and clinical leadership; Emergency Medicine and Management across three countries; Orthopaedic and Skin Cancer Medicine; Injury Management; and Preventive Health foundational work in General Practice.
Dr Bailey has also completed a Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Melbourne. His interest in Medical Law has led to involvement with the Medical Board as a board approved auditor as well as several Directorships to Queensland Health and remote heavy industry.
Dr Bailey has been central in the development and institution of multiple telehealth contracts with multinational CSG companies since his original pilot in 2012. These relationships have further increased his awareness of need for Corporate Health, hence the expansion of WORK DOC Medical.

Gina Hawker
Practice Management
Gina has worked in various areas of the health sector in Queensland and New South Wales before commencing practice management in Toowoomba in 2005. She has previously worked for Queensland Rural Medical Education, Queensland Country Practice and ran her own general practice consulting business.
Gina is an Australian Association of Practice Management mentor, a Certified Practice Manager (CPM) and holds a Fellowship Australian Association of Practice Management (FAAPM). Additionally she has a Diploma of Practice Management and a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management.

Mary Anne Sterling

Mary Anne is an experienced Injury Manager specializing in the successful and sustainable return to work for injured employees. During the 10 years working with WorkCover Qld as a Senior Case Manager in both Statutory and Common Law Departments, her portfolio included Government Entities as well as large private employers. In 2013 Mary Anne commenced work within the SCG industry and successfully implemented injury management strategies resulting in the reduction of WorkCover premium costs for a number of CSG companies.
Mary Anne has a Graduate Certificate in Case Management and Diploma of Business. She is a Certified Return to Work Coordinator in Queensland and South Australia and is a Qualified Mediator.
